What we make

The Splints & Appliances range.

A splint is a wear part. It spends every night under a load that cracks and crazes a weak material, so the material choice matters more here than anywhere else in the range. A custom dental night guard or occlusal splint is fabricated using the gold-standard splint resin Keysplint, with milled PMMA and thermoform options also available.

We also produce accurate orthodontic retainers and custom whitening trays using close vacuum forming for comfort and long-term stability.

Frequently Asked Questions

What dentists ask us most.

Materials, turnaround and how to submit your splints & appliances cases, answered upfront.

We use Keysplint, the gold-standard splint resin, chosen for durability: it resists the cracking and crazing that ends a splint early, and it stays comfortable in the mouth. Thermoform options are also available where appropriate.

Yes. We mill splints and night guards from a solid PMMA disc, which is the strongest option we make and the one we reach for with a heavy bruxer. Tell us the case and we will recommend milled, Keysplint or thermoform.

All three, and which one depends on the patient. Keysplint is our gold-standard splint resin and the default for a night guard, chosen because it resists cracking and crazing. For a heavy grinder we mill from a solid PMMA disc on our in-house mills, which is the strongest and most hard-wearing option we make. Thermoform is the lighter route, right for retainers, whitening trays and a soft or interim appliance. Tell us how hard the patient grinds and we will recommend one.

Yes. We produce accurate vacuum-formed clear retainers, which also work well as prep-reduction guides.

Yes. Our custom bleaching trays are closely adapted with vacuum forming to maximise patient comfort and treatment effectiveness.

Approximately 7 working days. Rush cases may be accommodated where clinically appropriate, and we are always happy to discuss timing.

We accept open STL, PLY and OBJ files and connect directly with 3Shape TRIOS, Medit, iTero, Primescan and Omnicam, and Shining 3D.
